Royal Canin has a better protein to fat ratio. However, Farmina's ratio is not bad. (The ideal ratio is 2 to 1.) Royal Canin has much fewer ingredients, which is usually a good thing. Both foods are mostly free of fruits, veggies, grains, and starches.
