Farmina has a better protein to fat ratio. Hill's's ratio of 2.41 to 1 is too high (not fatty enough). (The ideal ratio is 2 to 1.) Hill's has slightly fewer ingredients, which is usually a good thing. Both foods are mostly free of fruits, veggies, grains, and starches.
